The role involves leading college-wide initiatives related to online and distance education, undergraduate support, and professional development, as well as supporting international programs and faculty development across the college.
Highlights
Provide leadership for undergraduate and graduate academic programs within CALS.
Manage online education, off-campus undergraduate programs, and self-funded certificates and degrees.
Support international activities including study abroad, exchange programs, and compliance for international students.
Coordinate faculty professional development initiatives and teaching award nominations.
Oversee undergraduate research programs like the University Scholars Program and CALS Honors Scholars Certificate.
Liaise with UF International Center and the IFAS Global Food Systems Institute.
Support faculty promotion, tenure preparations, and progress assessments statewide.
Applicants must hold a doctorate in a relevant field and qualify for tenure at full professor rank at UF.
Experience requirements include significant instruction, advising, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include administrative leadership and curriculum development experience.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
