Job Description  | The Associate Director provides leadership, supervision, and direction for the TXST Admissions Counseling/Recruitment Team. Specifically, the Associate Director directly supervises four Regional Managers and a Review Coordinator; coordinates travel territories and college fairs; manages the assignment of both application and merit scholarship review; and oversees the hiring and training of new Counseling/Recruitment staff. The Associate Director also serves as the primary back-up to the Director of Recruitment and serves on the office’s Leadership Team.

The Associate Director’s expected activities include, but are not limited to, daily interaction and correspondence (email, Teams, phone, text) with Regional Managers, Admissions Counselors, and Review Coordinator; coordinating the hiring, training, and professional development of new Counseling/Recruitment staff; overseeing travel territory assignments (including assigning TACRAO fairs) and travel supplies; coordinating monthly Travel Management and Annual Reports; preparing lists for Application and Merit Review, assisting in the planning and execution of special programs (Bobcat Days, staff retreats, counselor programming); and monitoring the Admissions Counseling inbox and One Stop tickets.The Associate Director position requires strong organizational and project management skills as well as exceptional interpersonal communication. This position supervises a fully remote team.While remote work is negotiable, the Associate Director will need to be on campus for events and staff training.
