Job Summary | The Associate Director position is responsible for maintaining effective operation for academic, logistical, and general office functions pertaining to graduate and undergraduate for the locations operations. The selected candidate should possess strong entrepreneurial, leadership and promotional skills to generate new growth opportunities; must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in solving common problems, have experience in higher education administration to include expertise marketing and evaluation; recruitment; academic advising; financial record keeping and budgeting; general record keeping and reporting procedures; and modern office methods, practices, procedures and file maintenance; exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communications skills. This position is the Associate Director – North Florida Region for the Pensacola, Panama City, Tyndall AFB and Ft. Walton Beach employees.
Minimum Qualifications | 1. Bachelor’s degree from an regionally accredited college or university; 2. Marketing, sales and/or recruiting experience a must 3. Management experience
Preferred Qualifications | 1. Master’s degree from an regionally accredited college or university
2. Higher education experience
3. Experience with adult education, continuing education, and military education a plus
Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? | Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
Work Hours | Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; Nights and weekends will also be necessary, Frequent travel with some overnight and weekends required.
