Job Description | Responsible for the management, optimization, and strategic development of Student Information System technology.
The Associate Director of Global Systems (SIS) is responsible for overseeing the data & quality assurance, student information system (SIS) and reporting functions of the Division of TXST Global. Responsibilities include effectively maintaining and troubleshooting the student information system, oversee implementations of new student information system initiatives, refinements to the existing design, and seamless integrations of the student information system with other university systems
Job Duties Be able to manage the day-to-day operations of the student information system as well as guide the student information system staff. Must possess the ability to provide analysis of complex business and system processes, system troubleshooting, system risks, system integrations. Must possess the ability to manage multiple new and existing projects related to the student information system and other systems as well as provide customer service operations both internally and externally to TXST. Effectively oversee implementations of new student information system initiatives, refinements to the existing design, and seamless integrations with other university systems. Other duties include, but are not limited to,
Effectively oversee the system information system team Conduct research of other systems or non-systems Serving in committee and/or council meetings on behalf of the assistance vice president. Review project charters, risk assessment plans, and provide comments and recommendations to the owners. Performs highly advanced quality assurance work. This involves coordinating the planning, development, and internal quality assurance and compliance activities. Load data from vendors such as College Board, ENCOURA, and other third parties into SLATE to build the recruitment pipeline. Conducts Community College Search for recruitment purposes and lead generation. Ensure compliance with federal and state mandated changes. Develop Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions, including requirements gathering, data analysis and modeling for recruitment and enrollment Student Information System Liaison for Global Admissions overseeing testing and configuration of non-functional aspects of the student information system and other systems. Collaborating with TXST IT for coding, upgrade testing, maintenance, patching, developing testing schedules and plans. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the student information system needs Develop useful metrics, predictive models, analyses, and data reporting to support a variety of initiatives within TXST Global. This may involve knowledge of Logi, Tableau, SQL, and other tools. Serve as the department liaison to SISCC and serve as data steward for Global Admissions
