 | Department: Scholarships & Financial Aid
| Salary: $56,800.00 - $64,600.00
| Description: Coordinates the planning, development and implementation of a comprehensive student financial assistance program.

1. Responsible for the overall management of the internal operations of the office, which includes administration of the programs, management of staff and student counseling/customer service.
2. Oversees application processing, development and maintenance of the student information system.
3. Coordinates departmental services and procedures related to the processing of student scholarships and financial aid, ensuring compliance with appropriate laws, rules and regulations.
4. Directs activities and supervises professional and support staff, sets priorities and reassigns duties for special projects.
5. Trains staff on guidelines, policies, procedures and general departmental functions.
6. Participates on the Scholarships and Financial Aid Management Team; assists in the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of departmental processes, activities and other functions.
7. Acts as the liaison between Scholarships and Financial Aid and related internal departments and external entities.
8. Counsels students, prospective students and their families regarding services provided.
9. Assists the department in the preparation and filing of state, federal and institutional reports. 10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth experience that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
