Job Description | Reporting to the AVP & Treasurer, the Associate Director, Senior Systems Analyst provides leadership and sets strategic goals for the overall operations of the treasury unit and technical/analytical guidance to the Director, SBS and Treasurer. This position has an acute understanding of ERP systems and, in conjunction with the Director, SBS, determines how to integrate University-wide strategic initiatives. It provides critical data analysis to evaluate policies or potential policy changes to determine their effectiveness and impact. The position establishes and guides goals that align with the VPFSS and AVP & Treasurer.
Job Duties | Provides/leads coordination, oversight, administration, and overall operations in coordination with SBS initiatives. Writes and evaluates TSUS treasury system and student business services RFPs and reviews contracts with TSUS legal. Manages the payment functions (manages ecommerce and PCI compliance), IT, and primarily is responsible for project management. Analyzes large data sets and provides meaningful and accurate data and insight in order for senior management to make knowledgeable financial decisions. Facilitates effective communication between non-technical users and technical programmer analysts for all aspects of treasury and SBS information, including the student information system. Lead testing cycles for system patches, upgrades, new modules and regulatory updates. Designs, develops, and maintains integrations between the student information system (SIS) and third-party vendors Identifies opportunities for automation to improve efficiency in Treasury and Student Business Services operations. Support compliance and reporting requirements, including 1098T, PCI-DSS audit requirements and state/federal mandates. Participate and provide insight into long-range planning for technology enhancements, system modernization and financial operations improvements. Provide expert guidance on system capabilities, industry trends, and opportunities for innovation within Treasury and student business services.
