Job Summary/Basic Function  | The Associate Media Developer is responsible for producing videos, photos and other media products that promote the university and tell the Weber State story to outside audiences including prospective students, current students, staff, faculty, community members, alumni and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for a variety of media products, but the primary focus will be on video production.

The position reports to the Media Developer as part of the Marketing & Communications Department in University Advancement.
Required Qualifications  | Required: Associate’s degree in related media developer field or related equivalent work experience. One year relevant experience in production, videography or other multimedia area.
Preferred Qualifications  | Preferred: Working knowledge of communications and multimedia production; video production, photography, media relations, social media, etc. Working knowledge of professional video recording gear including cameras, lights and audio equipment. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as, but not limited to, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Professional understanding of video and visual communication in social media. Basic understanding of media compression and content delivery.
