How You'll Contribute to Our Mission
As an Associate Product Manager supporting our Business Solutions portfolio, you’ll help schools operate more efficiently, accurately, and confidently. You’ll join an empowered product trio — Product Management, Design, and Engineering — working together to uncover meaningful challenges in K–12 business operations and deliver solutions that truly make a difference.

This is a learning-by-doing opportunity designed for early-career product professionals who are energized by solving real problems. You’ll build strong product judgment through hands-on discovery, rapid experimentation, and thoughtful delivery — helping districts streamline finance and business workflows so educators can focus more on students.

How You'll Drive Success
You’ll partner closely with your team to discover the right problems, test ideas quickly, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Deepen customer understanding and reduce risk through discovery
  • Engage with district stakeholders such as finance leaders, accounts payable teams, budget owners, and school administrators to understand their workflows and challenges.
  • Support customer interviews, workflow observations, surveys, and lightweight experiments to validate problem statements and success criteria.
  • Use product data, customer feedback, implementation insights, and support trends to identify patterns and uncover opportunities.
  • Participate in prototype testing and usability sessions to assess value, usability, and feasibility early.
  • Synthesize insights clearly so the team can make confident, evidence-based decisions.
Deliver meaningful, reliable product improvements
  • Write clear, outcome-focused user stories and acceptance criteria that reflect real district workflows.
  • Help refine and prioritize backlog items, balancing customer impact, technical considerations, and delivery confidence.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering to ensure solutions account for permissions, approvals, compliance needs, reporting requirements, and edge cases.
  • Contribute actively in agile team rituals to improve focus, predictability, and shared ownership.
Connect daily work to measurable impact
  • Contribute to roadmap conversations by bringing forward insights grounded in evidence and customer value.
  • Support the creation of product documentation, release communications, and enablement materials that clearly explain what changed and why it matters.
  • Help define and monitor success measures such as adoption, efficiency gains, error reduction, cycle times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure decisions remain aligned with clear outcomes for districts and for the business.

Within your first year, you’ll be able to articulate the customer problem, define the desired outcome, and explain how success is measured. You’ll begin owning a defined workflow, persona, or product area with increasing independence and confidence.
