Associate, Technology Asset Full Description

Position Summary
The Associate, Technology Asset is partially responsible for processing equipment orders to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient asset management.

Primary Duties Performed
  • Conducts inventory of equipment in classrooms and storage areas at Forest Park.
  • Creates and updates appropriate files to support various functions.
  • Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, verifying and recording quantities.
  • Prepares materials for shipment and completes departmental paperwork.
  • Works with Project Coordinators and Campus Managers to process, inventory, and distribute all Information Technology equipment orders.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience
  • Associate degree in IT, Business, or Accounting related field preferred.
  • Additional training in Asset Management preferred.

Working Conditions
  • Generally works in an office and campus environment
  • Occasional travel between STLCC locations
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, walk and move around classroom and storage areas.
  • Regularly required to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly required to use visual acuity to accurately read labels, serial numbers and other inventory information.
  • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders or step stools to access materials.
