 Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | Responsible for administration of the financial aid office, verification of data for selected student aid application, initial review of electronic federal needs analysis, electronically correcting and monitoring data errors identified through verification or upon student requests, assists with processing Professional Judgment decisions, performs financial counseling for student and parents, responsible for federal and state grants and responsible for awarding federal and private loans. Ensure reconciliation of funds due to over awards and return of Title IV calculations.

Common Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience should be in a large computerized financial aid office. Knowledge of the statutes, regulations, and general guidance associated with financial aid administration, associated administrative policies and procedures, research methods, and current technology trends is expected. Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with little or no supervision also expected. Problem solving and analytical skills are critical.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
