Benefits Coordinator Full Description

As a compassionate benefits coordinator on the SCAD Atlanta HR team, you’ll work closely with the senior director of benefits and risk management to ensure employees receive helpful and friendly assistance with benefits claims issues and plan changes as needed. You’ll join a supportive team that responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollment, status changes, and more.
To support the HR team and other SCAD community members, you’ll:
 
• Provide administrative support for all benefits-related processes and initiatives, including the open enrollment process and the Healthy by Design wellness program
• Respond to 60-day survey follow-up inquiries
• Manage the pre-employment testing workflow for new hires, support the medical leave process, and payment processing for all benefits invoices
• Upload, record, and pull benefits documents as needed, and maintain accurate files for benefits data 
 
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least three years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
Travel required:
• Less than 10%

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
