About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Details:

In-Person Tutoring in Indio, CA
Schedule: 25 hours, 2 sessions a week for 3 hours
Pay range is between $25-$35

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, and/or Intellectual Disabilities.
Strong background in differentiated instruction for reading, writing, and foundational math.
Skilled in implementing scaffolded supports, visual aids, and hands-on learning strategies.
Ability to model and teach social-emotional skills such as self-advocacy, frustration management, and perseverance.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Preferred: Background in Special Education or related field (e.g., paraprofessional, behavioural therapist, or SPED teacher).

Key Responsibilities:
