| Job Summary | The College of Pharmacy is seeking a Biomedical Data Scientist to work with Drs. Hend Mansoor and Matt Duprey. The Biomedical Data Scientist will provide innovative, expert-level Biostatistical and Biomedical Data Science expertise: conduct quality control of big data. Build and maintain databases for biomedical research. Develop new tools or platforms to resolve emerging biomedical data. Design and direct innovative solutions for data products used in exploratory data analyses, generating and testing hypotheses, preparing and analyzing big data, identifying patterns and correlations among various data points and discover new insights for projects. They will serve as subject matter expert for healthcare data and health informatics systems and work collaboratively with both internal and external sources. Develop and test hypotheses in support of research and product offerings, and communicate findings in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to constituents. Meet with investigators to explain data, data analysis, insights and relationships within data. They will develop program projects to support research in cardiovascular disease and medication use in intensive care units and develop project plans and respond to emerging operational data requests for the college center and other medical research centers. |
