Highlights
  • Manage, monitor, and forecast budgets including state appropriations, federal capacity funds, and trust accounts.
  • Provide data-driven financial recommendations and analysis to college leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with University, state, and federal financial policies including Uniform Guidance.
  • Advise and train department leaders on financial procedures, reporting, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with finance and administrative staff across CALS to improve budget processes and transparency.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Preferred experience with PeopleSoft Financials or similar financial systems; knowledge of federal Uniform Guidance and public-sector budgeting practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree with accounting coursework or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Annual salary range from $80,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience.
  • Support provided to Department Heads, Associate Deans, and Directors within CALS; the role reports to the Director of Budgets and Planning and Assistant Dean of Finance and Business Management.
