This position is located in Austin, Texas. This role reports to the Director, BDR who is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will have the opportunity as one of the first BDR's in our US Sales team to join and drive the growth of Kahoot! in North America. 
You’ll be responsible for generating qualified leads, nurturing relationships, and booking meetings for our Account Executives, as well as helping to lay the foundation for a scalable outbound engine.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and book meetings with enterprise-sized businesses (2000+ employees) across the US interested in improving training, communication, and engagement.
  • Execute outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other tools (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo) to generate leads and engage decision-makers at the department or C-suite level.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of warm and cold prospects, working closely with Account Executives to progress opportunities and drive revenue.
  • Research and map out target accounts in the US, align them with current usage data, and define targeted outreach strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Kahoot!’s product offering, the customer’s needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to plan pipeline-building initiatives and support go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent Kahoot! at conferences and industry events as needed to network and support lead generation.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in SDR/BDR roles, ideally within B2B SaaS and focused on the enterprise segment.
  • Proven success in cold calling, with strong phone presence and confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in crafting compelling outbound messaging, building effective sequences, and leveraging data to optimize outreach.
  • Proficient in sales and CRM tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to exceed targets while contributing to team success.
  • Highly coachable, with strong self-awareness and a continuous growth mindset.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and dynamic environment.
