KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assists in coordinating, providing input for, monitoring and improving the human resources and business operational activities. 
  • Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating a variety of activities and special projects affecting area's operations.
  •  Coordinates or assists in preparing departmental budgets and forecasts of future budget requirements.
  •  May ensure that awarded grants conform to defined budget parameters. 
  • Negotiates new and renewal contracts with vendors. 
  • Directs logistical and clerical support activities, and coordinates specific data collection efforts and special projects.
  •  Designs and generates reports.
  •  May supervise staff. 
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field and three years of professional business or management experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. 
  • Some positions in this classification may require previous supervisory experience.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
