Business Relationship Manager I Full Description

Customer Relationship Manager duties will include but are not limited to: building relationships with internal departments to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, act as an advocate for departments within the university, coordination and communication of select IT projects and scheduled maintenance to the university community, active outreach and communication with internal departments to foresee poor process and work to find a solution, marketing services and products that IT offers its customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
10%: Technical writing and writing press releases
30%: Building relationships with internal departments to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

10%: Coordination and communication of select IT projects and scheduled maintenance to the university community

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Marketing, or equivalent work experience is required. Strong communication skills with writing press releases and understanding of academic technologies is preferred.
Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly required to lift 30 or fewer pounds. Proof of a valid Virginia driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
