The role focuses on providing career planning, advising, coaching assistance, and directly placing business students into internships and full-time jobs. The Career Coach supports students in developing job search strategies, offers resume and interview critiques, and coordinates with various stakeholders to enhance student career success.
Highlights
Provide one-on-one career advising and broad career management support to business students.
Assist students in creating strategic job search plans and monitor progress toward career goals.
Deliver resume and cover letter critiques, mock interview practice, career assessments, and offer negotiation guidance.
Maintain quantitative and qualitative records for reporting and measuring program impact.
Collaborate with Career and Peer Mentor teams, student organizations, and academic advising to enhance engagement and career outcomes.
Develop and lead career development workshops, seminars, and participate in career fairs and professional events.
Required bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
Strong customer focus, experience working with diverse populations, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel) and web-based resources.
