Dixon Career Development Center, Employer Relations and Industry Partnerships:
The Kenneth G. Dixon Career Development Center (DCDC) advances student success by connecting UCF students with career development resources, meaningful experiences, employers, and opportunities that support their transition from college to career. Through career education, experiential learning, recruiting programs, graduate and professional school preparation, and partnerships across the university and employer community, the DCDC helps students explore career possibilities, build career readiness skills, and connect with opportunities. Employer Relations and Industry Partnerships serves as the primary bridge between DCDC and the employer community, cultivating relationships that expand internships, employment opportunities, and industry engagement for students.

Provide information and data to DCDC leadership and the designated RCHM point of contact to demonstrate program activity, engagement, and student success.
- Support engagement with local, regional, and national employers seeking to recruit UCF students and graduates. Assist with developing and maintaining employer relationships and connecting employers with appropriate recruiting and engagement opportunities.
- Provide individual and group career development services to assist students with resumes and cover letters, interviewing skills, job-search strategies, career readiness, and articulating career competencies. Identify students who may benefit from additional career development assistance and connect them with appropriate DCDC, UCF, or other resources.
- Represent DCDC and RCHM at events, meetings, career fairs, trade shows, and other external and internal activities. Promote UCF as a source of talent, support employer recruitment and engagement, and communicate the impact of DCDC and RCHM programs and partnerships.
- Contribute to the overall mission, goals, and operations of DCDC. Participate in DCDC meetings, programs, professional development activities, and center-wide events, either virtually or in person as appropriate.
