Position Summary:
AAQEP Assessment & Accreditation Coordinator
The coordinator would support the Education Preparation Program’s ongoing accreditation efforts through data management, assessment coordination, evidence collection, and report development/writing.
Casual positions offer flexible hours, with no more than 19 hours per week.
Position Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with the Department Chair, faculty, clinical supervisor, and others, as needed, responsibilities include:
- Develop familiarity with new AAQEP 2025 Standards as well as the SCW EPP program requirements and AAQEP designated evidence measures
- Review and build upon 2026 AAQEP IAR (note old standards were used, not the 2025 version, due to timeline)
- Develop and maintain AAQEP evidence collection calendar and timeline
- Coordinate collection and organization of AAQEP evidence and documentation
- Maintain data management systems for candidate, completer, employer, and program assessment data
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative program data and prepare summaries for faculty review
- Integrate NYSTCE and other required assessment data into annual reports
- Monitor updates to AAQEP standards and reporting requirements (e.g., attend AAQEP webinars) and relevant NYSED educator preparation policies to ensure accreditation documentation and assessment plans remain current
- Prepare working drafts of the Annual Accreditation Report and other required accreditation documents for faculty review and revision
- Assist with preparation for accreditation reviews and site visits
5-10 hours per week.
Experience & Educational Background:
Educational Background:
Required: Master’s degree in education, Educational Leadership, Educational Research, Assessment, Higher Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Preferred: Doctoral student or doctoral degree in Education or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Experience organizing, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience with educator preparation, accreditation, or program evaluation.
Preferred:
Experience in higher education and familiarity with educator preparation programs.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence into clear written summaries.
