Job Description Summary
Provide general admin/office support.
Responsibilities
  • Creation and posting of Weekly Blog that highlights CCI material, often requires setting up and interviewing individuals for the source material.
  • Content creation and bi-weekly postings on various social media platforms promoting the Center and local CCI opportunities.
  • With the CCI Program Manager will set and update project calendar so that all social media/blog content is always accounted for two weeks out.
  • Regular updates to the CCI creative site, including the job/grant/internship opportunities board.
  • Make occasional posts to cross-promote events hosted by other departments.
  • Manage social media engagement during events, such as Facebook/Instagram Live and other live posts.
  • Coordinate and schedule student interviews for student spotlights and related blog features, maintaining flexibility to accommodate cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Review social media analytics to assess success and recommend improvements for post.
  • Assist in the development of social media strategies to increase followership and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Wilkinson’s Dean’s office Marketing staff to cross-promote events on the official Chapman University accounts.
  • Manage photo albums on department drives and Google Drive.
  • Supports any additional administrative needs or special projects assigned by the CCI Program Manager.
Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience. Ability to learn support process. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Some experience with Interviewing individuals for articles/stories
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
