CDR Desktop Support Student Help Full Description

Department Overview:
 | The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) is known as one of the world’s premier dairy food research centers. Its staff operates a licensed dairy plant on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to build on Wisconsin's tradition as the "Dairy State.". Working closely with our IT Manager, student employees gain hands-on, real-world experience supporting the needs of research, office, and production staff in a world class dairy plant. The experience and project work gained through this role will assist when applying and interviewing for internships and employment post-graduation.

Schedule:
 | Schedule will be set with supervisor upon hire, prefer availability some mornings each week, must be available Spring 2026.

Qualifications:
 | -Knowledge of Office 365 tools
-Ability to provide customer service to internal staff through good communication and problem solving
-Ability to troubleshoot in the Windows environment i.e. basic desktop operations, printers, etc.
-Understanding of basic security practices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 | -Adobe Creative Suite tools and web design and development, or interest in learning, is a plus.
