Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities indoors and outdoors for children up to age 12.
Apply Kansas Early Learning Standards and NAEYC accreditation practices in daily programming.
Maintain communication with children, families, and staff to foster positive relationships and safe learning environments.
Develop newsletters for parents to report classroom activities and support home learning.
Supervise and train classroom workers and volunteers.
Keep individualized portfolios and comply with KDHE childcare licensing regulations.
Required qualifications include six months of teaching experience and credentials such as the Child Development Associate Credential, college coursework in early childhood education, or an associate degree in the field.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Kansas teacher licensure, and three years of childcare experience.
Hourly pay range from $14.54 to $21.81.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass background, health assessments, and physical requirements.
