This position is on site at our Cullowhee, NC campus. Working hours will generally be weekdays from 8:00a – 5:00p and may be adjusted based upon management discretion.
The Division of Information Technology is seeking a Temporary Administrative Support Associate to provide part-time, hourly support within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This position assists with day-to-day administrative, logistical, and operational tasks that support the IT Division.This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.
Position will: Serve as front office support, including greeting visitors and screening incoming calls and messages Provide general office support such as data entry, filing, and document preparation Perform proofreading and ensure accuracy of written materials Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, travel, and conferences Provide logistical support for meetings and events as needed Perform other clerical, procedural, or administrative tasks in support of the IT Division
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position | The ideal candidate should have strong customer service skills, which includes but are not limited to the following: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or equivalency Demonstrated ability to perform administrative and clerical support functions
Preferred Qualifications | Preference will be given to applicants with: Previous experience in an administrative support role Experience with financial processing (e.g., invoices, requisitions, or budget tracking)
