Highlights

  • Manage 30-50 emergency operator calls per night, routing messages appropriately.
  • Maintain and update patient demographic and referring veterinarian information in electronic medical records.
  • Provide emotional support to clients and handle the release of cremains compassionately.
  • Collect and process payments, verify financial eligibility through CareCredit.
  • Monitor building security via cameras and alarms and coordinate emergency resolutions.
  • Requires a high school diploma and four years of directly related experience; veterinary medical environment experience preferred.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
  • Position is full-time, part of the Agri. Forestry and Vet Medicine - CVM - AVM department at Mississippi State University.
