Job Summary  | The University of Kentucky College of Nursing is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Clinical Placement Coordinator to support clinical education for the DNP and MSN programs. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining clinical site partnerships, managing all associated documentation, overseeing credentialing processes, and maintaining databases that support student and faculty placement in clinical and practicum settings.

The Coordinator will work closely with program leadership, faculty, clinical instructors, students, and healthcare partners to ensure high quality experiential learning opportunities that meet program and student learning outcomes. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and well-developed problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities  | Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and Microsoft Office Suite skills. Knowledge of or experience working in the healthcare field is highly preferred. Self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
