Clinical Training Program Coordinator (Limited Duration) Full Description

The University of Oregon is hiring a Clinical Training Program Coordinator (Limited Duration) in Portland, OR, within the Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health. This is a limited-duration, full-time (1.0 FTE) classified position reporting to the Senior Director and Chief of Staff.

Position Summary
The Clinical Training Program Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational management for the Institute’s clinical training, field placement, and professional learning programs. Working with a high degree of independence under general administrative direction, this position assists program leadership in the ongoing administration, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of clinical training operations, including managing field placement partnerships and agreements, administering student field clearance and compliance processes, coordinating professional learning and continuing education activities, overseeing external clinic operations, and supporting program planning and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain procedures, systems, and controls necessary to support program operations.
  • Monitor activities for compliance with university policies, accreditation standards, contractual obligations, and site-specific requirements.
  • Serve as a primary liaison among students, faculty, supervisors, community partners, clinic providers, and external agencies.
  • Coordinate administrative projects and events, manage program communications and documentation, and support operational planning and decision-making.
  • Develop reports, materials, and recommendations needed to advance short- and long-range clinical training goals.

Minimum Requirements
  • Three years of office experience, including two years at full performance level and experience generating documents.
  • Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.
