Location: Edgewater, NJ
Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Collaborating with the Head Teacher in the areas of curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
  • Working closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintaining accurate records.
  • Learn how to effectively demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to plan school events and prepare curriculum.
  • Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.

Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA in a similar field with required credits or CDA
  • Montessori Experience (preferred)
  • NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment)
  • Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally
  • Experience with Lesson planning and development
  • Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
