| Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. |
| Job Description Summary | Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Compliance Manager provides primary leadership and oversight for the NCAA compliance and student-athlete eligibility for Chapman’s 21 varsity sports and 600-plus student-athletes during a limited-term appointment of up to approximately 16 months. This position oversees day-to-day compliance and administrative functions, including the application and enforcement of NCAA and SCIAC bylaws, tracking student-athlete academic eligibility, policy implementation and contracts administration, compliance education, and game day management oversight. The Compliance Manager serves as a liaison with student-facing campus partners in Academic Affairs, Dean of Students Office and Enrollment Services for the purposes of compliance. This position also provides supplemental support to the Director and Operations Manager in areas of front office operations, financial services, special events, and team travel. |
