Consultant Full Description

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This a temporary or on-call position. Provides a wide variety of consulting services including conference, seminar or workshop design/presentation; operations review and analysis; project design, completion, coordination or management; or related consulting services. Consultants paid on grant funds must be paid on an hourly or daily basis, with a minimum wage of $12.00 per hour. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary
This Community Liaison position will support the project by 1) participating in individual, whole team, and small team meetings, 2) analyzing data, and 3) providing guidance and recommendations in the development of Head Start curricular materials, 4) providing guidance and recommendations in the development of curricular assessment including child outcomes.

Desired Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience working with Head Start programs. Familiarity with training requirements for Head Start teachers and a range of assessments for children ages 3-5. Knowledge or experience working with Tribal communities in Michigan.
