McGraw Hill is a global education innovation company offering solutions from textbooks to EdTech platforms. We are looking for a Content Project Manager - Higher Education based in our Noida office plays a pivotal role in leading the content development and pre-press teams, she/he will work closely with several internal and external  stakeholders,  including  authors  and  subject  matter  experts,  to  implement  the  product  vision strategy  and  develop  a  diverse  range  of  competitive,  reputable,  and  financially  viable  print  and  digital products.

How will you create an impact?
The Content Project Manager will act as the single point of contact for the product portfolio team, owning end-to-end execution and delivery of content and product initiatives in line with business goals.
The incumbent will lead and motivate cross-functional teams, optimize workflows, adopt new tools and technologies, and ensure content remains current and aligned with product roadmaps. Strong stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and risks across markets are essential to succeed in this role.

What will you be doing?

Strategic & Competitive Product Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, subject matter experts, and vendors to support product development.
  • Track and analyze competitor print and digital offerings to inform product strategy and differentiation.
  • Leverage customer insights to guide product direction, feature enhancements, and lifecycle management.

Project & Vendor Management

  • Deliver products on schedule by meeting all milestones and maintaining clear cross-team communication.
  • Onboard, manage, and coach authors, SMEs, and vendors in line with business objectives and quality standards

Market Focus & Sales Enablement

  • Keep portfolio and marketing teams informed of project progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Execute beta testing, analyze feedback, and influence content and future editions based on market insights

 

Digital & Innovation Practices

  • Drive print-to-digital transitions and support digital transformation initiatives across product lines.
  • Adopt new technologies, optimize workflows, and share best practices across global teams.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with portfolio, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams for seamless execution.
  • Lead and develop teams by setting priorities, coaching, removing roadblocks, and fostering collaboration to achieve business goals

 

We are looking for someone with

  •  Bachelor's degree, preferably in English or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in publishing, education, technology, or related domains, with strong understanding of content development, instructional design, and print/digital publishing workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with authors, SMEs, vendors, and freelancers; existing networks are a plus.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of publishing tools and software.
