Job Description
Education Affiliates is seeking contract instructional designers. The work scope encompasses creating effective learning experiences, focusing on specific projects in the field of Medical Technology programs such as Dental Hygiene, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Surgical Technology. The designer will collaborate with subject matter experts and utilize AI development tools to tailor course content and assessments. They will design learning activities, develop instructional materials, and may train others on how to deliver the content.

Core Responsibilities:
Working with stakeholders to identify learning needs and performance gaps.
Developing curriculum frameworks, course outlines, and learning objectives.
Creating learning activities, assignments, and assessments that align with learning objectives.
Developing and revising course content, including text, images, audio, and video.
Utilizing various multimedia tools and software to enhance the learning experience.
Assessing the effectiveness of learning programs and making recommendations for improvements.
Managing learning projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
Working with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Providing support for trainers and end-users, including developing instructor manuals, and providing training on using the new materials.
Specific Tasks May Include:
- Developing brick and mortar and e-learning modules and storyboards .
- Creating presentations, job aids, and other performance support materials .
- Managing project timelines and deliverables .
- Conducting needs assessments and task analyses .
- Staying up to date on current trends and best practices in instructional design .
- Collaborating with developers and other team members to ensure a high-quality product .
