Job Summary 
Collaborates with others in the implementation of strategies, plans, programs, and services that support the assigned college’s goals of attracting and retaining an academically talented student population in the Learning Community. Represents and promotes the assigned Learning Community program and Cleveland State University (CSU) to prospective students. Maintains individual communication with prospective students throughout the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment utilizing the customer relationship management (CRM) tool. Develops and implements a recruitment plan and schedule. Maintains, collects, and analyzes recruitment, admissions, and retention data utilizing the CRM tool. Works with others on the planning and implementation of community outreach and with specialized engagement activities. Researches business school enrollment trends and develops recruitment engagement strategies. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications 
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in assigned college discipline, business administration, or related field. Experience in advising, mentoring, student programming, student services, teaching, or tutoring in an educational or programming setting. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish and maintain driver eligibility under CSU’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Preferred Qualifications 
Master’s degree preferably in business, the assigned college disciplines, higher education, or related field. Experience in higher education admissions recruitment, college student activities, admissions counseling at the high school or college level, territory and prospect management, marketing, sales, or related experience. Experience planning, organizing, and implementing recruitment or sales plans, events, or programs. Experience utilizing a CRM system. Experience using social media and networked communications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 
Excellent interpersonal skills, “customer focus” attitude, and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities. Social media communication skills. Ability to effectively plan and coordinate, establish and maintain effective working relationships and prioritize workloads based on available resources. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to travel frequently (car, air, bus, train) and to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
