Position Summary:The College and Career Readiness Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of College and Career Readiness programming and site operations across college extension locations, including Parkridge and Ellsworth Center. This position serves as a key operational and programmatic lead staff supporting adult and youth initiatives, community partnerships, and student-centered services. The Coordinator works collaboratively with College and Career Readiness staff, WCC faculty and departments, and community organizations to expand access, increase participation, and strengthen educational and employment outcomes.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Program Coordination & Delivery· Coordinate daily program operations and site-based activities at both Parkridge and Ellsworth extension sites, ensuring programs run smoothly and align with departmental goals.· Plan, implement, and evaluate College and Career Readiness programs, for both youth and adults, including but not limited to Summer Learning Experience, Middle/High School Bridge and Academic Support along with College and Career Exploration and Readiness. · Support the design and delivery of student-centered classes, workshops, and readiness activities focused on education, skill advancement, job search, and career preparation.· Coordinate curriculum or workshop logistics with internal partners; assist in identifying program gaps and proposing new offerings in collaboration with the Director.Partnership & Enrollment Support· Collaborate with WCC faculty and departments to support credit and non-credit offerings at extension sites, including logistics and promotion that increase enrollment and participation.· Coordinate with the Division of Workforce and Community Development to ensure continuing education courses hosted on-site are properly listed, supported, and registered.· Build and sustain relationships with key community partners, schools, nonprofits, and employers to enhance visibility and impact of programs and services offered.

Site Operations & Community Engagement· Serve as a primary on-site contact for guests, students, and community members; assess needs and connect individuals to appropriate programs and resources.· Coordinate room scheduling, event calendars, building rentals, and related inquiries for extension sites.· Maintain safe, welcoming, and organized learning environments including classroom setup, supplies, and routine operational support.· Work with local community organizations to host events and co-develop programming that advances annual goals.Data, Reporting & Administrative Support· Maintain participant data, tracking, and reporting in departmental systems ensuring accuracy and timely updates.· Compile program participation and outcomes data; assist in preparing monthly and annual reports aligned with departmental goals and county/college needs.· Update departmental policies and standard operating procedures in coordination with the Director.· Other duties as assigned by the Director or designee.

Hours/Schedule:This position works 30 hours/week with varying hours that will include evenings and Saturdays.
Minimum Qualifications:  | Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:· Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or a closely related field or the equivalent of four years of full-time work experience.· Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a related area.· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—with demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into clear reports and presentations.· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, synthesize large volumes of detailed data, and identify overarching trends and implications.· Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and collaborative capacity, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners to fulfill position responsibilities.· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success engaging and maintaining regular contact with diverse internal and external stakeholders.· Demonstrated ability to coordinate programs across a broad range of college departments and with community and business leaders.· Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to changing priorities, situations, and organizational needs.· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays, as required.
