Job Summary | The International Support Program Coordinator will act as the main administrative support personnel for international programs and partnerships developed through UT Dallas’s International Center. Reporting to the Senior Director for International Initiatives in the International Center, the position will coordinate logistics for international delegations and visitors, international grant implementation, help process and track partnership agreements, serve as the support point of contact for visitors, as well as assist with the onboarding of visiting students and scholars resulting from international programs.
This full-time position requires program and project management within a higher-education environment, support for grants, and legal contract drafting and review. Experience working with international groups as well as hospitality management/event planning is required.
Minimum Education and Experience | - Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing support to programs or projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus 3 years of academic or administrative experience in writing and editing experience Two (2) years of related program management One (1) year of hospitality/event management experience Experience studying, living, and/or working internationally. Diplomatic skills working with international audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with program and project management. Contract management experience. Working knowledge of delivering public educational programs in university systems. Responsible, self-disciplined, and capable of working independently Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and social media platforms. Knowledge of UT Dallas through previous direct experience (as a student, alums, faculty, or UT Dallas community member).
Other Qualifications | To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
International Delegation and Visitor Support Plans and implements new programs and adjusts existing programs in a research and public education environment. Programs include international grant funded activities, international visiting delegation events and receptions. Works with campus stakeholders to onboard visiting students and scholars coming to UT Dallas through grant programs, navigates university policies and procedures. Provides logistical support for visiting students and scholars before and during their visits.
Program Implementation Assists with implementation of programs. Monitors and coordinates activities according to the terms of the funding agreements. Participates in connecting constituencies and promoting programs to target audiences. Provides support to Senior Director for grant applications.
International Partnership and Contract Management Assists in drafting and reviewing template agreements. Monitors status and or projects related to new and existing international partnerships. Maintains contact with current and prospective international partner schools and institutions.

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
