The Curriculum Champion is a subject matter expert skilled at working cross-functionally, who provides overall product leadership, communication, and management related to Stride’s online curriculum. The Curriculum Champion leverages their in-depth knowledge of Stride’s curriculum products and portfolio to develop presentation and training materials, both internally and externally, to highlight and educate stakeholders on our core product offering.  They will lean heavily on their product experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and knowledge of EdTech and online learning and serve as a champion and ambassador for Stride’s curriculum offering.  The Curriculum Champion is skilled at presenting to senior leadership.

  •  Act as a driving force to help deliver on our product vision and associated strategy that continues to advance Stride’s leadership as a virtual teaching and learning platform;
  •  Act as subject matter expert on Stride’s curriculum product offering;
  •  Develop presentation materials that highlight Stride’s curriculum product, strategy, and vision;
  • Provide relevant product documentation, including user guides, training material, and positioning documentation; 
  •  Document and understand stakeholder needs, and make sure products meet those needs; informed by regular and consistent communication with stakeholders and lines of business;.
  •  Act as the ‘voice’ of Stride’s Teaching and Learning department, leveraging their in-depth knowledge of our product offering to communicate and collaborate across the organization;
  •  Responsible for developing and delivering presentations highlighting our vision, strategy, and offering that may be presented to Board of Directors, Investors, and/or Senior Leadership;
  •  Collaborate extensively with the curriculum development leadership to understand product and project vision and goals in order to accurately and effectively articulate Stride’s direction.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

  • Seven (7) years of experience in marketing, product management

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills, including development and maintenance of presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  •  Passionate and skilled in gathering and interpreting user perspective so that stakeholder needs are understood and met. 
  •  Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, influence-management, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience developing training and development materials and presenting to senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong technology skills
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with creativity, independence, and high standards
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other) or equivalent
  • Ability to clear required background check

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in Education Technology organization
  • Marketing or product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish objectives, identify problems, analyze data, and creatively deliver solutions
  • Teaching or curriculum development experience

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  
  • We anticipate the salary range to be $67,195 to $124,749.50. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
