Description
TCI delivers innovative content to more than 50,000 K-12 schools across the nation via our award-winning products. As an established EdTech company, we make a difference in the lives of thousands of teachers and students every day through our programs, including the History Alive!, Social Studies Alive!, and Bring Science Alive! series.  

The Curriculum Developer is responsible for the creation and editing of content to meet the needs of TCI’s programs. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Creates prototypes for new ideas for content delivery and tests prototypes created by others to ensure the model works with a variety of content. 
  • Documents processes, provides training, and reviews content created or edited by team members for consistency and quality as assigned. 
  • Reviews content created or edited by team members for consistency and quality, and to ensure that the latest software tools, style guides, and content innovations are being used.
  • Runs reports and analyzes correlations to align standards, including identifying coverage in TCI programs to meet standards and fill gaps.
  • Creates new content to meet customer needs as assigned, including conducting research on both content and assets to deliver content. 
  • Supports the re-purposing of existing content by making changes to allow for re-use in other programs and content areas.

Requirements
  • At least three years of editorial experience, preferably in both social studies and science content areas. 
  • At least three years of social studies classroom experience, preferably using TCI curriculum.
  • Experience aligning content to state standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working independently. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom, and Project Management tools.  

Salary Range: $29.00/hr - $48.00/hr
This is a full-time remote position. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills, and location. TCI offers medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits, PTO and bonus eligibility.
