Position Summary

Watershed, a Learning Analytics Platform reporting into PeopleFluent, is seeking a technically strong Customer Implementation Engineer to join its Technical Watershed product team, with customer-facing support and services responsibilities. This role uses data and code to drive customer success with data-driven Watershed solutions, bridging the gap between clients' data challenges and Watershed's platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

Build connections between Watershed and client systems, configuring Watershed to meet each client's goals
Build and maintain data pipelines and API integrations, and write scripts to manage data connections to Watershed
Use Watershed's flexible reporting platform to analyze complex data sets and build dashboards and reports for clients
Consult with clients on their goals, share best practices, and help clients build out their learning data ecosystems
Provide technical support and troubleshooting, working closely with the technology team to influence product changes
Automate repetitive technical workflows and develop deployment workflows using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Occasionally contribute updates to Watershed's core product
Serve as a public-facing representative, building client and industry partner relationships and identifying expansion opportunities
Train clients on how to use Watershed effectively

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on programming experience, ideally including Python, REST APIs, data wrangling, and software automation tools, plus 3+ years in a client-facing role implementing SaaS software, data science, analytics, or reporting tools, and proficiency in SQL/MySQL.
