Description
The Customer Integration Specialist (Contractor) is customer focused, responsible for providing quality and timely integration support to an assigned quota of school district customers. Working in partnership with a team of peers, Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, Digital Support Representatives, and Development teams, you'll help build scalable strategies to successfully onboard new customers and integrate Wayside Publishing's Learning Site with customers using third-party education technology solutions.
This position is 40 hours per week, and the contractor role will end on 9/30/2025.

Primary Responsibilities
- Customer Integration Support: Provide quality and timely integration support to a specific quota of school district customers, ensuring their successful onboarding and integration of Wayside Publishing's Learning Site with third-party educational technology solutions.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with peers, Customer Service Representatives, Sales Account Managers, Digital Support Representatives, and Development teams to build scalable strategies that streamline the customer onboarding process.
- Project Ownership: Assist in managing integration projects from inception to completion, including handling customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and contributing to the creation of customer-facing support documentation.
- Process Optimization: Support the implementation of improved processes designed to operationalize work within districts, aiming to reduce barriers to integration on a semester-to-semester and year-to-year basis.
- Customer Communication: Engage with customers through calls and other communication channels to understand their needs and provide solutions, helping to ensure a smooth integration experience.
- Documentation and Support: Participate in co-creating comprehensive support documentation that aids in customer understanding and use of integrated systems.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with implementing technologies and onboarding customers, ideally within an EdTech or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing rostering, data analysis, and integration solutions.
- Experienced in customer relationship management, including building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and managing their expectations to ensure buy-in.
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively translate technical information across diverse teams and guide customers through complex implementation and adoption processes.
- A data-driven decision-maker capable of structuring ambiguity into actionable, value-added plans.
- Superior project and time management abilities reflected in a track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Committed to self-reflection, open to both giving and receiving feedback, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Able to handle multiple, shifting, and competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer management and troubleshooting skills.
- Experienced in authentically engaging stakeholders, adhering to data privacy standards, leveraging feedback for continuous improvement, and consistently exercising excellent judgment and integrity.
