 I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION 
Job Description Summary:  | The primary function of this role is to support the data needs and enrollment/retention communication of the Office of Student Life (OSL). This function is pivotal to GSEHD furthering its enrollment and retention goals. The incumbent will report to the Associate Dean of Student Life and work closely with members of OSLʼs Admissions, Marketing, and Student Success teams.

Data Analysis and ReportingUtilizes university databases (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Slate) to run functional reports necessary for the success coaches to perform their duties. Shares these reports with the coaches on a regular basis. Runs reports as needed/requested by the Office of the Dean, GSEHD Finances, Department Chairs, and Office of Student Life leadership to inform enrollment and budgetary decision making. Provides data analysis for school-wide reporting related to accreditation including, but not limited to, Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), annual vital statistics, and US News and World Report (USNWR) data.
Communication Management Ensures that the Office of Student Life executes the student engagement calendar (key communication throughout the student lifecycle). Oversees the office’s enrollment and retention outreach. Supports the success coaches in their regular outreach to students regarding enrollment and retention by providing functional reports and managing the communication schedule. Participates in team meetings to discuss communication priorities and ensure that coaches have necessary reports and weekly directive for student outreach. Develops and sends one-off communications to students as needed related to retention, policy, and student life.
Student Support – Enrollment and RetentionAssists the Office of Student Life (Admissions, Marketing, and Student Success) with prospective and current student outreach in the form of call campaigns and email communication. Supports Office of Student Life events, including Preview Day and Family and Alumni Day (both held on Saturdays). Supports OSL staff with ad hoc projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:  | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
