Job Summary 
The College of Public Health/Public Health Analytics and Informatics is seeking Data Management Specialist to join our team developing applications for multiple research projects, including the Rapid Actionable Data for Opioid Response in Kentucky (RADOR-KY) system.

We are seeking a Data Management Specialist to support our data management operations through SQL-based data engineering, quality control, and technical documentation. This position will execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple public health data sources, assist with ETL processes, and perform data quality validation checks. The ideal candidate will monitor data pipelines, maintain comprehensive technical documentation including data dictionaries and process guides, and provide support to researchers and study staff. This role requires strong SQL skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to learning data management best practices. The position offers hands-on experience with database administration, data quality assurance, and public health informatics systems while working closely with senior data management, data science team members, and faculty investigators.

This position will primarily be remote.
