Job Summary  | Data / Reporting AnalystThe University of Utah is home to a large research community. Helping that vast community to mobilize, strategize, and communicate is a central task of the Vice President for Research (VPR). To that end, the VPR office is hiring a multifaceted position to support research development activities and to build resources for characterizing and promoting research activities on campus. The position will help cultivate and support research teams, groups, events, and initiatives. Data collection will include interviewing stakeholders, gathering data about research trends/opportunities, and working closely with the research development, research analytics, and marketing & communications teams under the VPR. Outcomes will play a role in the VPR’s strategic goals.Work with and support faculty research activities. Characterize the research community via qualitative & quantitative data analysis.
