| Job Summary | The University Analytics & Institutional Reporting (UAIR) office houses a transformational group of data professionals that turn complex university data into meaningful, highly valued information that is trusted by university leadership to drive strategic decisions, and generate official figures reported to regulatory, external and public agencies. The UAIR team operates with an iterative mindset of continuous improvement, learning and adapting strategies as we go. We believe the strengths and knowledge each person brings to the team bolster our collective work and aim for a collaborative environment where we thrive together while tapping into our strongest individual contributions. If you’re the type of person who loves data and wants to know your work has meaning, you may find your career home in our office.
UAIR is seeking a director to lead our Administrative Reporting team. In this role, you’ll direct a team that provides information and sound research about the institution’s finances, academic research, faculty, and staff with the goal of enhancing decision-making, problem-solving, strategic planning, policy review, and institutional assessment. You’ll execute a forward-thinking, collaborative approach to delivering actionable insights that shape the University’s strategic direction. You’ll empower stakeholders at all levels with timely, reliable, and incisive information to inform consequential decisions impacting finance, research benchmarks, and institutional effectiveness.
Like many areas at the University of Utah, our office is a hybrid work environment. More details can be discussed in an interview. Our office is not currently able to support individuals seeking sponsorship for visa—living in and working from the United States is a requirement.
