Department Overview:
 | This position is housed within the Digital Curation and Scholarship unit within the Libraries and works with Research Data Services, MINDS@UW - the institution’s open access repository, as well as our forthcoming digital scholarship hub.

Qualifications:
 | Ideal for graduate students in the iSchool, but open to students from any discipline. We are specifically seeking those who have career interests in the following topics and skills: academic libraries, research data management and data sharing, data analysis, data visualization, data curation, scholarly communication, digital humanities, and more!

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 | This position is ideal for someone with experience with data visualization and one or more common visualization tools used in academic research. We are seeking candidates interested in helping others communicate their research and who have an interest in exploring other visualization tools and platforms. This role may have the opportunity to provide consultation hours and to work with some of our campus partners.

Develop resources, materials, and trainings/workshops for campus researchers related to their role either by direction or based on special interest
Collaborate with unit staff, library staff, and campus partners to develop and provide data and digital scholarship services and assist with workshops 
Develop and write content for the Research Data Services (RDS) website, newsletter, and other resources or special events
Assist with unit projects as assigned for MINDS@UW, RDS, and other services
Assist with documentation and reporting
