Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.  | Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and administrative support, with strong computer literacy (Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook). Experience working with confidential information and maintaining data privacy and security standards. Background in customer service or a service-oriented environment, with the ability to listen effectively, interpret requests, and provide problem-solving solutions. Proven accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to follow written procedures and documentation precisely. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software, technologies, and data systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain high productivity and data quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications  | Proficiency in LexisNexis, Banner, Raiser’s Edge Fundraising Software, Omatic, financial database experience or similar databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset; able to identify issues and implement effective, actionable solutions. Previous experience in a fundraising support role, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting. Familiarity with data mapping and import tools. Proficiency in generating reports within relational database applications. Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research using a variety of internet-based resources and tools. Experience supervising student workers, including assigning tasks, training, and overseeing day-to-day work distribution.


Job Description  | The Advancement Services office is seeking a competent and motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of biographical and gift data within the Alumni/Donor database. This position plays a key role in data entry, data imports, research, problem-solving, reporting, and training to support frontline fundraising efforts and overall data management operations.
Job Duties  | Enter and verify biographical and gift data entered into the database manually through import tools from multiple sources including Athletics database, Human Resources, PaperSave and Advancement Services ticketing system. Create and update constituent records, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and standardized. Identify and resolve duplicate or matched records, merging as appropriate. Conduct research using internal and external tools to correct, enrich, or complete constituent data. Build and run queries and exports to support mailing lists, donor reporting, and data cleanup efforts. Maintain up-to-date documentation for database processes and workflows. Oversee data hygiene efforts such as AddressFinder, PhoneFinder, EmailFinder and duplicate management. Supervise and train student workers assigned to data projects. Provide end-user training and guidance to Raiser’s Edge users. Oversee and execute the import of various data sets, including employment, survey results, research related attributes, and other relevant information. Lead the process for managing and updating 160+ database attributes. Identify and resolve discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in data sets. Perform routine data validation and verification checks to ensure data integrity by maintaining accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
