The University of Florida is hiring a Dean for the Levin College of Law. The Dean will lead the law school’s academic and administrative functions, oversee faculty and staff development, manage budgeting and operations, and engage with alumni and external stakeholders to advance the institution’s mission and reputation.
Highlights
Provide strategic, operational, and intellectual leadership as the chief academic and administrative officer.
Lead fundraising efforts and alumni engagement to ensure financial stability and professional connections.
Manage faculty hiring, promotion, tenure, and professional development.
Oversee budgeting, planning, and resource management for the law school.
Represent UF Law to university officials, legal professionals, and government entities.
Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent terminal law degree with distinguished academic scholarship and significant leadership experience.
Demonstrate understanding of the evolving legal education landscape and legal profession.
Promote faculty governance, collegiality, and foster interdisciplinary initiatives.
