Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly creative and results-driven Demand Generation Manager to spearhead campaigns and programs for the Lexia curriculum and professional learning product lines. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate all facets of full-funnel marketing initiatives, aiming to boost engagement and drive conversions into sales lead opportunities across our diverse product lines. Your primary objective will be to amplify our brand's influence while simultaneously bolstering customer acquisition, lead generation, and nurturing efforts.

Your duties will include planning, implementing, executing and analyzing results across channels including email, direct mail, syndicated content and other digital advertising media, SEM, social media, and retargeting. You will develop annual and quarterly plans that drive response, engagement and ultimately marketing qualified leads for our sales team, while continuously evaluating performance to improve/expand the effectiveness and ROI of these programs. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns and programs designed to ignite demand and cultivate high-quality leads, optimizing campaigns to maximize conversion rates.
  • Drive customer acquisition, lead management, and nurturing projects with the aim of accelerating funnel velocity and enhancing opportunity conversion rates.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to craft strategic buyer journey campaign blueprints, guiding prospects seamlessly from acquisition through to purchase.
  • Lead and mentor team members in the execution of annual marketing plans, quarterly updates and ensure timely execution.
  • Contribute innovative thought leadership to propel overall performance and brand growth initiatives, including offering recommendations on omnichannel strategy and marketing technology.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, swiftly incorporating emerging best practices into our marketing strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction in the MSP framework to analyze campaign results, proactively adjusting tactics as necessary to optimize performance
  • Plan, execute, and manage diverse marketing tactics including content syndication, email, events, webinars, direct mail, print, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop targeted messaging and content.
  • Build and manage partnerships with internal and external resources to execute programs effectively.
  • Analyze marketing program results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage budgets and responsibilities effectively.
  • Provide insightful reporting on marketing performance and monitor contributions to the sales pipeline and program ROI.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations to drive database strategy and campaign execution.
  • Demonstrate creativity, leadership, and strong management skills.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in developing and executing marketing programs, with a keen emphasis on demand generation and content creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a proven track record of eliciting ideas and feedback from diverse organizational stakeholders.
  • Experience leading full-funnel marketing programs for the Literacy education market, from demand generation to campaign outcome reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management, with a demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multifaceted marketing initiative and manage multiple projects concurrently. 
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com reporting and a solid understanding of marketing automation systems.
  • Proven expertise in a wide array of inbound and outbound marketing disciplines, encompassing social media, search, advertising, email, and event marketing.
  • Previous experience within the education technology, publishing, or software marketing sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership acumen, coupled with a collaborative spirit and innate self-motivation to drive results.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Take initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to handle routine and last-minute tasks.
