The Role in Brief:
Demand Generation Marketing Manager
EAB is seeking an organized, results-oriented Demand Generation Marketing Manager to execute outbound, multi-channel marketing campaigns for EAB’s 2-Year Higher Education products aimed at helping institutions address some of their greatest challenges. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Content Marketing, and Research to accomplish goals and objectives.
The position is open to candidates in Washington, D.C., Richmond, VA, or remote candidates in the continental U.S. For remote candidates, travel to one of our offices in Washington D.C. and/or Richmond, VA is required periodically throughout the year.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with various teams (e.g. design, sales, events, research) to execute strategies and drive demand
- Summarize best practice research on a variety of topics to share via diverse channels (e.g. email, landing pages)
- Write copy that differentiates EAB products in the market and drives conversion across channels (via email, landing pages, social media, etc.)
- Use an email marketing automation platform to execute campaigns
- Manage lists from conferences and other sponsorships, including using Salesforce reports and Excel
- Align external data sources with internal data and assign leads to sales territories
- Communicate campaign updates with relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Use data and analytics to measure, improve, and report on the performance of demand generation efforts (using metrics such as leads, conversions, and revenue)
- Travel periodically to industry conferences and events to engage with partners and prospective partners at exhibit booths, receptions, and support other necessary onsite duties
- May include direct management of 1-2 employees on the Demand Generation Marketing team
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3+ years of full-time professional experience in marketing, sales, or a related field
- Superb project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and activities
- Experience using an email marketing automation platform to plan and execute email campaigns, ideally Marketo
- Experience working with a CRM, ideally Salesforce
- Strong written communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Experience with Excel (e.g. creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $45,500 - $67,500 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
