Key Responsibilities:
Drive Faculty Excellence
  • Lead course scheduling, teaching observations, and faculty evaluations.
  • Provide timely performance management, ensuring faculty maintain current industry certifications and ICTE credentials.
  • Oversee departmental records, including syllabi, CVs, and credential renewals.
Elevate Student Success and Program Quality
  • Resolve instructional concerns quickly and fairly to support student achievement.
  • Champion accreditation processes and Technical Skills Assessment reporting.
  • Guide the development of new degree and certificate programs through research and outreach.
Strengthen Department Operations
  • Oversee recruitment, budgeting, and compliance with institutional and state standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty to identify program resource needs and secure appropriate funding.
Build Industry and Community Partnerships
  • Engage employers and industry representatives through advisory committees (TAC, PPC).
  • Delegate faculty coordination of TAC/PPC meetings and maintain accurate reporting to ICTE.
  • Foster relationships that enhance program relevance, student opportunities, and departmental visibility.

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least five years of proven teaching excellence across a variety of post-secondary courses.
• A minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in curriculum design, implementation, and program oversight.
• Familiarity with problem-based learning and proficiency in utilizing diverse instructional technologies, including distance, blended, and online learning formats (preferred).

**Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion.
