Wilson Language training is growing and is looking to hire a Design Contractor. This is a contract role anticipated to start effective June 1, 2025, through February 27, 2026.
This position is responsible for helping to redesign the student books for our K-3 curriculum based on set of design templates and style guide provided by the design team.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Redesign necessary student books in the new design style
  • Port over existing content into new templates / layouts
  • Assist in image / asset generation to accompany content
  • QA each page of content for design fidelity
  • Assist with exports for the procurement and publishing process

Minimum Requirements
Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in print design work with extensive experience using InDesign and InCopy
  • 4+ years of experience working collaboratively with editorial and project management and print production teams.
  • Experience with design systems and leveraging product style guides.
  • Experience working on curriculum products focused on reading for K-5 classrooms is a plus.
  • Experience with AI image generation tools (ex: MidJourney) is a plus.

Education or Certification
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree - prefer design degree
  • Portfolio of example print design work
